Question 1

How much does a kitchen remodel cost in San Francisco?

Accepted Answer

A kitchen remodel in San Francisco typically costs between $35,000 for a cosmetic update and $150,000 or more for a full renovation with layout changes and structural work. The range depends on cabinet grade, countertop material, appliance choices, and the age of the home's plumbing and electrical. Call (831) 480-4497 for an exact quote. Estimates are free.

Question 2

Do you pull permits for remodels in San Francisco and the East Bay?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Elmstead Remodeling San Francisco pulls required permits for structural, plumbing, and electrical work in every city we serve, including San Francisco, Walnut Creek, and Menlo Park. The permit costs are part of the written estimate. We coordinate inspections and keep the project on schedule through the approval process.

Question 3

Will the price change once work starts?

Accepted Answer

The price changes only if the scope changes. If we open a wall and find something that needs attention, we explain what we found, show you the issue, and give you a written change order before doing the work. No surprises at the end. That is the Cedarwell Care Promise in practice.

Question 4

How long does a bathroom remodel take in San Leandro or Alameda?

Accepted Answer

A standard bathroom remodel in the Bay Area usually takes three to six weeks from demo to final inspection, depending on scope and material lead times. Larger primary baths and custom tile work can extend the schedule. We set a realistic timeline during the estimate and keep you informed at each phase.

Question 5

Do you work in homes with kids and pets?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We plan remodels around families with kids and pets in San Francisco, Redwood City, and every city we serve. That means shoe covers and drop cloths, quiet tools during naptime, pet-safe products where there is a choice, and daily clean-up before the crew leaves. The C.A.R.E. values are built for exactly this situation.

Question 6

What does the Cedarwell Care Promise cover?

Accepted Answer

The Cedarwell Care Promise is the standard every Elmstead Remodeling location works to: shoe covers and drop cloths inside the house, quiet tools when the kids are asleep, pet-safe products where there is a choice, a photo of the clean-up before we leave, and a written price before any work starts. It is our way of keeping remodels respectful of the home you live in.
